7 DAY AWE-INSPIRING SAFARI TOUR TO SERENGETI (Luxury Accommodation)

Tanzania has great national parks, relatively untouched by man. Wildlife wander freely in their natural world. A 7 Day Safari Tour to Serengeti program has been designed to cover the prime locations where the vast migratory herd gathers from July – October. Package quoted based in Luxury accommodations, “same plan can also be quoted on the mid range level, email us for details”.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

Pick-up at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After Immigration formalities, meet your driver/guide at an arrival lounge. A drive to the lodge in Arusha hardly takes an hour drive.
Overnight – Lake Duluti lodge. (Bed & Breakfast Basis)

Day 2: Arusha – North Serengeti

After breakfast on the first of your 7-day safari tour to Serengeti, depart to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Northern Serengeti. Your safari guide will be waiting at Kogatende Airstrip with a packed lunch from the lodge. After a short orientation about the area, you leave the airstrip straight to a game drive. Kogatende is an area that hosts the great migration from July – late October. It’s phenomenal to get an opportunity to watch the massive herd crossing the flooding Mara River. You’ll have lunch in the bush when you build up an appetite. After lunch carries on with the game drive for a couple of  hours. Dinner & overnight – River camp or Mara undercanvas (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 3: Northern Serengeti

An early start after breakfast for a game drive with a packed lunch. We recommend going with a packed lunch because seeing the crossing can sometimes take hours of waiting, so if you haven’t seen the crossing in the morning and it gets close to lunchtime, you won’t miss the opportunity if carried packed lunch. Lunch in the bush when you build up an appetite. After lunch, carry on with the game drive for a few more hours. Dinner & overnight –  River camp or Mara undercanvas (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart to the Central Serengeti via Lobo with a packed lunch. Lobo is another part of the Northern Serengeti that is less visited. The game drive to the Central Serengeti via other remote areas of the Northern Serengeti maximizes the chances of seeing a lot more. We’ll have lunch in the bush when you build up an appetite. After lunch game drive carries the your way to the Central Serengeti.
Dinner & overnight – Awali camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day 5: Central Serengeti

After an early breakfast on day 5 of your safari tour to Serengeti, you will depart for a game drive. The central part of the Serengeti has a resident population of wildlife that stays year-round. However, the area is among the few places in Africa where big cats can be found much more easily than in the other parts of the park. Fascinating landscapes and varied terrain create a habitat rich in a variety of flora and fauna, which makes this area great for safaris all year round.  Dinner & overnight – Awali camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Included)

Day  6: Central Serengeti – Crater Tour

You will take a packed breakfast for an early start to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers (5200 square miles). The crater was formed over 2.5 million years ago after violent volcanic activities. The volcano eventually collapsed to form a huge depression known as a crater, though technically it is a caldera due to the type of formation and the size of the area.
Dinner & overnight – Lion’s paw or Farm house.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha

After breakfast, depart to Arusha for lunch and a day use room; late evening transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport your flight back home.

WHY IS MY SAFARI MORE EXPENSIVE WITH LESS PEOPLE IN THE GROUP?

Safaris are a mixture of fixed costs for the tour company (JAfrica)  ie staff, vehicle, food, and external costs which come in the shape of accommodation and park fees etc.

When pricing a safari we divide our fixed cost by the number of people in the safari truck to work out a cost per PAX, then we add on the accomodation and park fees.

This means that the fixed costs are shared by the people travelling, so the more people in the group, the less the individual is required to pay. If you have any quieries regarding this or anything else about your safari trip to Africa please feel free to contact us.

Please call or email for child pricing, depending on the numbers in your group we can negotiate better room rates with the lodges.
