The 6 Day Tanzania Safari is a thrilling, authentic Serengeti wilderness experience! Explore Tanzania with us and discover the abundance of nature’s creatures that roam these lands. This short safari plan is designed to give you access to three great parks of Tanzania (Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro). An incredible diversity of flora and fauna, mammals, birds, and reptiles. This experience is available all year round.

DAY 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport and completing immigration formalities, meet your safari guide at an arrival lounge. Your lodge is located at Arusha Town, about a 1-hour drive from the airport. The real adventure begins after breakfast the next day with a short journey to the amazing Tarangire National Park.
Overnight – Kahawa Lodge.

DAY 2: Arusha – Tarangire Park

After breakfast, you will leave Arusha with a packed lunch for Tarangire National Park, a 1.5 – 2 hour drive. Tarangire is a great national park; it hosts the largest elephant population per square kilometer in the northern tourist circuit of the country. The park covers 2,600 square kilometers. In addition to the elephants, the diversity of flora and fauna is phenomenal and birdlife is astounding. You have a whole day in the park to explore the beauty of Tarangire.
Dinner & overnight – Burunge Tented Lodge.

DAY 3: Tarangire – Serengeti

Depart Tarangire National Park after breakfast on Day 3 of your Tanzania Safari, heading to the famous Serengeti national park. Between the two parks, you will be driving across local villages, great-rift valley, and Ngorongoro Conservation. Enjoy the scenic landscapes, flora and fauna encounter on your way. Drives across Tanzania Ecosystems has lots of fascinating creatures, and safari our Guides are clever and will always talk about powerful facts about things found during traveling and make your travel more enjoyable.
Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park

You have the whole day in the park. Each part of the park has its resident concentration of wildlife. One can stay several days in Serengeti and each day is always different from the previous one. This Itinerary allows staying in the park for two full days of your Tanzania safari. Our guides share with their guests fascinating talks each evening about their day and make plans with them about the following day. We aim to give our visitors the real touch of nature, as most of the time we focus on all mammals—big and small, not only the big five. Sharing knowledge is our priority; feel free to share with your guide what you know about wildlife, and they always are ready to share their vast knowledge and expertise.
Dinner & overnight – Kati Kati Tented Camp.

DAY 5:  Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Leave the Serengeti early after breakfast and head to the Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater, or more precisely a caldera, is a fascinating wildlife area with its resident concentration of wildlife. However, it is one of the few areas left in the world with black rhinoceros. The crater was formed millions of years ago after violent volcanic activities, which caused the top to blow away and its cone to collapse. It’s kind of a small area; in the busiest months, it gets lots of vehicles.
Dinner & overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

DAY 6: Karatu – Arusha

After breakfast, you will drive from Marera Valley Lodge to Arusha. Lunch and day room at Kahawa House; late evening transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Safari Pricing Explained

Why is my safari more expensive with less people in the group?

Safaris are a mixture of fixed costs for the tour company (JAfrica)  ie staff, vehicle, food, and external costs which come in the shape of accommodation and park fees etc.

When pricing a safari we divide our fixed cost by the number of people in the safari truck to work out a cost per PAX, then we add on the accomodation and park fees.

This means that the fixed costs are shared by the people travelling, so the more peole in the group, the less the individual is required to pay. If you have any quieries regarding this or anything else about your safari trip to Africa please feel free to contact us.

Please call or email for child pricing, depending on the numbers in your group we can negotiate better room rates with the lodges.

Solo travelers, please email us for the best/latest pricing.
