DAY 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your Tanzania Safari

After Immigration formalities meet your Tanzania Safari Guide at an arrival lounge. Your lodge is located at Arusha Town, which takes about a 1-hour drive from the Airport. Following day after breakfast, the Adventure begins with packed lunch and a shortish journey to the amazing Tarangire National Park

DAY 2: Arusha  – Tarangire Park

Starting from Arusha after breakfast, a drive takes about 1.5 – 2 hours. Tarangire is a great National Park, it hosts the most of Elephant population per square kilometre in the northern Tourist circuit of the country. The park covers 2,600 square kilometres, besides the Elephants Diversity of flora and fauna is phenomenal and Birdlife is astounding. You have the whole day in the park to explore the beauty of Tarangire. Dinner & overnight – Burunge Tented lodge

DAY 3: Tarangire  –  Serengeti

Depart Tarangire National Park after breakfast on Day 3 of your Tanzania Safari, heading to the famous Serengeti National park. Between the two parks, you will be driving across local villages, great-rift valley, and Ngorongoro Conservation. Enjoy the scenic landscapes, flora and fauna encounter on your way. Drives across Tanzania Ecosystems has lots of fascinating creatures, and safari our Guides are clever will always talk about power facts about things found during travelling and make your travelling more enjoyable. Overnight at Kati Kati tented camp.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park

You have the whole day in the park, each part of the park has its resident concentration of Wildlife. One can stay several days in Serengeti and each day always different from the previous one. With this Itinerary allows staying in the park two full Days of your Tanzania Safari. Our guides share with their guests’ fascinating talks each evening about their day and make plans with them about the following day. We aim at giving the real touch of nature, as most of the time we focus on all big and small mammals, not only the big five. Sharing knowledge is our priority, feel free to share with your guide what you know about wildlife, and they always are ready to share their vast knowledge and expertise. Dinner & overnight – Kati Kati tented camp.

DAY 5:  Serengeti  –  Ngorongoro

Leave the Serengeti early after breakfast heading to the Ngorongoro crater. The Crater or more precisely a caldera is a fascinating wildlife area with its resident concentration of Wildlife, however, it is one of the few areas left in the World with black Rhinoceros. The crater was formed millions of years ago after violent volcanic activities, caused the top blown away and its corn collapsed. It’s kind of a small area that in the busiest Months gets lots of vehicles. Dinner & overnight at Marera Valley lodge.

DAY 6: Karatu  –  Arusha

Driving from Marera Valley lodge, heading back to Arusha for lunch, the day room later transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for a flight back home.

COVID-19 Preparedness




 Following are the Standard operational procedures:


A:            We have appointed a trained COVID-19 Liaison Officer who would be the point of contact with the Ministry; the COVID-19 Liaison Officer will keep abreast of health protocols and preventive measures and be updated on all designated approved health Centres for COVID-19 testing and treatment stationed in Arusha (ALMC) and Karatu (FAME) as for travellers going out of Arusha.

B:   Having in place thermal screening at entrance points.

C:   Provision of hand washing and sanitising facilities such as sanitisers and running water to both guests and staff.

D:  Display of emergency call number

E:  Having an insurance mechanism for assisting guests to reach a designated hospital as approved by the Government or directed by Health officers from the Region.

F:  To ensure that staff and tourists are aware and reminded to adhere to the best protective and preventive practices against COVID-19.

G:  Ensuring that all contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitised with approved disinfectants regularly.

H:  All employees are trained, exercise, and adhere to COVID-19 preventive and control measures as advised by a team from RMO & MNRT Team Arusha.

I:  Employees maintains a distance of at least one (1) meter from one person to another whilst interacting with each other and with guests.

J:  Wearing masks appropriately.

K: Ensuring all staff use recommended protective gears when attending to guests and servicing.

L:  Employees to hand wash with running water and soap or use hand sanitiser before and after all contacts with guests or each other.

M:  To ensure an updated COVID-19 -precautionary measures are carefully observed and communicated accordingly with international booking agencies and local DMC’s

.Contact the COVID-19 liaison officer while on duty if having any respiratory complications associated with COVID-19.

Safari Pricing Explained

Why is my safari more expensive with less people in the group?

Safaris are a mixture of fixed costs for the tour company (JAfrica)  ie staff, vehicle, food, and external costs which come in the shape of accommodation and park fees etc.

When pricing a safari we divide our fixed cost by the number of people in the safari truck to work out a cost per PAX, then we add on the accomodation and park fees.

This means that the fixed costs are shared by the people travelling, so the more peole in the group, the less the individual is required to pay. If you have any quieries regarding this or anything else about your safari trip to Africa please feel free to contact us.
